How can our service hotline provide support?

You can call the service hotline if you would like to learn more about the Inquiry’s work, if you need help completing the online form to register for a confidential hearing or if you have questions about submitting a written report. The service hotline can also provide personal relief.

Who oversees the Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse Issue’s service hotline?

The service hotline is a service provided by the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse Issues and is under the professional responsibility of the N.I.N.A. e.V. specialist counselling centre. Our service hotline experts are psychologically and pedagogically trained and they have many years of professional experience in dealing with girls and boys who have been subjected to sexual violence.

Which languages can be used to reach the service hotline?

Thanks to our interpreters, telephone advice from the service hotline can be provided in 18 foreign languages as well as German Sign Language during the office hours listed above. If requested by the person calling, the counsellors will add an interpreter working in the required language to the conversation within one minute.
